I bought a 2014 1LE last year. It is in my garage right now. I was so worried about the summer tires cracking (no tire warranty for that) that I put on jack stands and put tires and rims in basement. good luck

On the subject of tires, have any of you that drive your 1LE in the winter had a cracking tire problem? I am leaving ours parked at anything below 40 degrees. Just curious with what others have found. Oh, and congrats on your new car OP.

They will crack while parked. It will be single digits tonight here. My tires are not going to do well. My winter wheels (bought through sponsor here on C5) are 4 weeks delayed at this point. I am NOT a happy camper.

I don't live in the coldest of climates although I have a winter set of SS rim and tires. This somewhat saves on the abuse of 1le rim and tires. I can say that at 35 deg they (1LE tires) are ok.

I get your frustration, and makes me glad I live in the south now (lived in northern Illinois until '93). I was just curious if anyone here had had any cracking situations since many claim to drive in the snow and cold.

One thing though. I highly recommend you give those seats to someone in your neighboring area like say Massachusetts. Those seats might get stolen in NJ and will be much safer in my neck of the woods .
