Yeah cause it takes soooo much skill to push one pedal to the floor one time? Might as well have your butler do it while you ride and eat your burger.

I like both.

My 2000 is a 4L80e **came stock with a 6 speed** and I've won races I've had no business winning simply because a well built transmission can shift INSANELY fast.

My 2015 is a 6 speed, and I won't lie, it's more engaging to drive... even though it is quite alot slower than my 2000. For now...

Fun vs Function.

I just like the LS3 engine, it's simpler..... that 6 speed auto is a nice transmission and it's unfortunate you can only get it behind the L99.

Auto vs. Manual trans is a better argument for a vehicle that lacks power.

I'll be the 1st to admit that i got an A6 because I'm not overly confident in my manual skills. I don't have nearly enough practice to be making payments on a car I'm to nervous to drive properly lol...

And for the record, I'm a Hardee's man. Big twins combo with curly fries and root beer....don't eat in my Camaro tho...the food smell doesn't mix well with the little tree black ice air freshener!

the A vs M is a personal choice. I live between Baltimore and Washington DC and drive in traffic, I chose an Automatic because its my DD ,when it's not snowing. I have owns several cars with manual transmission over the years and in bumper to bumper traffic it is a PIA.
If this was purely a pleasure car I may have leaned toward a manual. The auto works for me and if I want to shift on my own I can use the paddles but I rarely do.

A6 guys, stop being pricks and the M6 guys will stop mentioning a man pedal, driving vs riding in their car, AFM farty noises, slushboxes, making more power, etc.

No, no matter what M6 guys will still bring up the man pedal.

M6 is better for Autocross.

A6 is better for Drag.

Long established facts.

The new Paddle Shifted 8 speed in the C7 Corvette is the best of both for both.

To get that power back on the l99 you can do a l99 to ls3 conversion.
