Hey Apex Motorsports, Thanks for the great information. Question: I live at 7,500 Ft. elevation here in Colorado, and about the best high octane fuel that we can buy is 91. I realize that we don't need as high an octane rating up here in the clouds, but will that 91 be enough to reset the table to the low octane table? My '14 Camaro LS3 is a lot more sluggish up here than at sea level, but I figured that was because there is no air up here. I run the blue Sunoco (100+ octane) in my '67 Camaro (454 BBC w/11.7:1 C. R.). Would it be alright to run that in the LS3 (10.7:1 C. R.)?

IMHO: This "fuse pull" is easy to do and without risk.
Pull the fuses at night - wake up in the morning and re install.
- When you re install them put them in reading upside down so it's easy to identify and repeat later.

In AZ we can get different fuel additives in our gas for different months of the year.
I've done this on my LS3 my L99 and my ZL1

I would never put less than 91 in any of my LS cars.

In some areas around here we also get additives during some parts of the year. Which of course jacks up gas prices.

Luckily I live right outside the county and can fill up without the secret sauce and the extra 25 cent per gallon.

Any chance we can get a re-upload of the original image? I plan to try this over the weekend.

No, the high octane table is for 91+. When it gets hit with anything lower than that is when it drops.

Ok cool. And does doing this mess with a tune?
