Have to see where I'm at on my LS1/t56 swap but i'm interested in the trip to Bethany.

My buddy added a catch can to his ZL1. Says it helps save the supercharger. If you have not read up on the ZL1 supercharger issues, you should. Sounds like there are a couple and they are bad enough to kill it. All the info is on this site.

Yeah I plan to do a catch can. There is actually a good thread about in on the Zl1 forum now. The sc issues were more with the 2012 and 2013 models. Don't knoe that's it's really needed but it's good insurance regardless.

MORE SNOW TOMORROW! This sucks. I want to drive this thing. Not start it and sit in it in the garage lol.

I hope the weather man is right. I need to get the car out and get a real good detail done so it is ready to go when the rain finally washes all the salt away.

If it's done good and fast, it isn't going to be cheap.

Front plate

My neighbor, a highway patrolman who advises our legislators, told me that he is pretty certain they are going to stop requiring 2 plates on cars that were not equipped from the factory with front plate bracket. So before you install your bracket, stay tuned. He said his recommendation was to just have Iowa become a one plate state. Now we have another area for the after market companies. Figuring out a way to cover the 2 holes in the front of our cars.

One can only wonder why its such a big deal on car requiring a front plate, yet not an issue on motorcycles?

Thinking weather so nice... finally, its time to awaken the Kracken!
