Daytime RUnning Lights w/Halo - Harness

I bought this Plug and Play harness from AMAZON and finally installed it today. It connects into the harness and turns on the Halo Lights with the DRL.

Works perfectly! Quick install but didn't come with any instructions. The instruction for the harness are in the description of the part but it was really simple.

1. Turn the front wheels inward to access the star screws on the wheel well liner. (turn wheel left to access the right side and right for the left side);

2. Remove the three bottom screws only;

3. Gently pull back the liner enough to fit your arm inside (I used a knife pry it from the side of the wheel well);

4. The connector on the ZL1 is located ABOVE the fog lights. It WILL NOT fit directly on the lights themselves and has a blue faceplate just like the connector;

5. Unplug the car connector and plug in the halo connector to the relay and the car connector to the back of the halo connector;

6. Re-install the screws and DONE!

It was very easy and a quick new look for around $30 bucks

Yep. Same harness but got it from Gen5 DIY. LOVE it. Looks sick at night. Now you just have to upgrade your bulbs.

Put your finger dead center on the knob for the headlights and push in to turn on the fog lamps.

I bet you got a harness for a regular Camaro (even though it said it would work with the ZL1). You need to get the harness from gen5diy. Here is the link ot the correct harness - http://www.gen5diy.com/PnP_harnesses...1-drl-harness/

The cheap harness doesnt have the wire to make the fog lights on a ZL1 work. Give them a call, they will hook you up!

H11 and P13 LED bulbs from Phastek. Harness from GEN5DIY. Harness keeps the DRL which are the lights underneath the headlights. Underneath those the smaller lights are fog lights. So at night when the headlights and halos come on, the DRL are on, and to get the fog lights on u just push in the headlight button. Then all the lights will be on.

Any harnesses out there that will allow you to have the halos on in daytime, and no other lights??? i.e. make your halos into DRLs.

No harness needed for that. On the light knob turn it to the left to turn off your drl's, then turn it one click to the right and you will have halo's only.

To be clear, this harness allows you to keep the DRL (Fog Lights) to stay on at night when your standard head lights are turned on correct?

I want a harness that will always keep my Halo Lights ON without having to turn a knob. I want the Halo lights to turn on at night or during the day when the with the DRL while the knob is set to auto at all times.

This harness will not work for me?
