It says right here, "designed to not void your warranty"......oh it say's "most of these bolt on parts are designed to not void your warranty". Close enough!!

Pretty picture of the heads and all.

It says most of the parts. The link I posted shows each part individually and mentions which ones do and don't void the warranty. I don't want them to void the warranty but I'd be willing to bet a pretty penny that the head and cam package does. That was one of the main complaints addressed in the survey that Chevrolet Performance just had.

My thought is the cost of the parts should include the financial impact to the warranty. If the cost of the heads and calibration is $2,000 then charge $2,750 or whatever and maintain the warranty.

99.9% sure it is. Even near you. It uses a "mild" cam, akin to the LS7 bump stick...and it is designed with a "factory calibration", only accessible through a dealer.

There's an idea! Pay-to-play! I'd still like to see a "performance warranty" offered through Chevy Performance parts for people interested in doing a significant upgrade like that Street or Track SS.

By the way, Number 3...always a pleasure posting reality-checks with you in a thread gone all fantasy-land...

Not trying to be negative here but as a ZL1 owner, that got pounded in the face by a 662 hp GT500 shortly after the ZL1 launch, I still see nothing from Performance Parts for the ZL1. Disappointing. They should have sold a hp adder for this car. I would have bought it.

I am sure you know, there are lots of options available that deliver great results from a pulley and a tune on up.

Yes there are but none from GM that keep your warranty unquestionably intact.

The LS3 head and cam package does not have the little "Does Not Void Warranty" symbol that most of the mods on that page have.
I saw this same page and thought, well, maybe they won't allow it to void it but possibly limit it to a shorter time period, but again, nothing concrete to go on but speculation, hearsay and pure guesstomology.

So, when the ZL/1 version comes out, what percentage of bump in the power to weight ratio do you guys expect?

Will it rock an LT4?

I look forward to the reveal mostly because I'll have a better idea then what to expect from the high performance models a bit later.

GM has so far not given an indication of anything other than an LT4 for a ZL1. But they also haven't given an indication of a ZL1, we just expect it.

My guess it will be a tough call on what comes first, ZL1 or Z/28. Ford has announce the GT350 and 350R. But we also expect Ford has a GT500 on the way.

I also expect the whining for these two starting around ohhhhhh May 17th.
