+1 was just thinking about the same thing. Maybe it just the shadow in the gap that make it look like the gap is wider.

This was mearly a test fitting. The hood was not properly aligned so the gaps were not correct. It was pushed back about a 1/4 inch too far.

Wheels, suspension and breaks are going to be completely different on their SEMA car. I got a look at the "artists rendering" of the wheels that are going on and they look pretty cool. Not sure what sizes that they are going with but they look fairly deep.

Hood Gaps

Rksport didn't want to adjust the factory settings of 2010SSRSM6 Camaro since they were putting his factory hood right back on. Agree a little fine tuning would of made the hood fit perfect, however with no adjustments, the hood fit great.

Agree, it was a cloudy day too, so the CF doesn't pop as much in the pictures.

Hood looks great on there...when I was out there it was the exact day it was coming out of the mold!

My car is the one there getting prepped for SEMA...I too have seen the drawings and with Elisio doing the work on the car there's no doubt it will turn out awesome! I can't wait to see it finished!

I wish I could share photos with everyone as I get new pics every other day and so far it's been awesome! Lots of plans for it and like already said, can't really go into to much detail as RKSport wants to debut the car at SEMA.

RKSport is a great company and I used a lot of their products in my last build...quality work!! I think everyone will agree once their stuff starts hitting the streets!

I saw the one by carbonbydesign and it's cowl is 2 1/4 in. taller than stock. Is the rksport will be the same as stock or taller? When will this be available? How much will it cost?

This hood is a direct and exact replacement for the factory hood, only done in CF. I'm not sure the exact price as of yet. Finish on the hood was awesome! I'm really looking forward to the production model. They put alot of time into their products and make sure they are done right. Very cool guys to talk to and work with! (even the Chargers fan )

Thanks for stoping by the thread! Your car is going to look absolutely AWESOME! Congrats! I got to watch as some of designs for one of your mods were being laid out. Your car is going to be just plain sick! Elisio know's his Camaro's too! You will not be disapointed!
