You have a Euro Camaro I'm guessing? The US models don't have folding side mirrors unfortunately.

Now that the Peanut Gallery has had their fun, here is something you can check. In the fender well there is a baffle. If it is jarred loose or not seated properly wind will blow through and cause a whistle sound.

Easiest way to see and get to it is to take the wheel off and pull the fender liner. Mine fell off and was hanging out the bottom of the fender. I will try to post pics if I can find the ones I took.

There are actually 2 One in the fender, and one that can be reached from the hinge area of the doors. Check them both.

Here is the one that should be visible from the passenger compartment. Hope this helps.

I have a 14 vert SS and I get a whistle on the passenger side mirror. Only when the hood is down. I can hear it with the windows up or doen. Kinda high pitch whistle. Any thoughts? Dont really want to go to the dealer to have some guy say it's normal.......

Chevy,

I think plenty of people on here would like your "additional assistance". What assistance is GM/Chevy offering on this tho? Unless there is a known fix having us take our car into the dealer will only waste our time...

Mine has a whistling noise too ever since I bought it brand new. It does however seem to only become noticeable between 30 to 50 mph. At first I thought it was my air conditioner vents but adjusting the fan speed had no effect. It's definitely some type of air passing over/through something sound. I realize this isn't a fix but once I'm above 50 mph or listening to my sound system I don't notice it.

There was an article in the GM Techlink publication about a Camaro wind whistle. Here is a link....

I have the same whistling noise on my '14 SS, I found that using the remote control for the left mirror to change it's angle, I can make the noise change, or even go away. Not a fix, but that's how I found what it was.

Also make sure your door rubber weather stripping is pushed and seated in all the way, mine is loose in one small spot and sometimes sags a little which makes it noisier for sure.
