Is anyone familiar with those 3.8 3800 that GM used in the Monte Carlo's, Grand Prix's, Bonneville, etc.

Those engines honest to God were the best engine I have ever seen bang for buck. Those things were damn near bullet proof. I gave my younger brother my 2002 Monte Carlo SS, has 225k miles on it. Perfect interior and the things drives brand new.

I absolutely loved those things.

That's just an example of how it relates back to topic, the majority of vehicles out there are going to run how you maintain them.

Of course people who don't drive it as often and aren't as hard on it are going to get more out of their car. But driving it like it's meant to be with the proper maintenance is going to serve you justice.
Hah, seeing as I'm still driving one in my 01, I can back this up. 140k and the only issue I've had with the engine is the known issue with the head gaskets (they've been replaced now). They DO like to pull oil through the PCV though, which is annoying. Thankfully, it's a $3 part and replacing it solves the problem for a while.

It is, I've only bounced off the fuel cutoff once during a burnout when I first bought the car.

That's ironic

You have a Camaro you dont have anything to prove.
Do fathers that molest their children give all fathers a bad name?

I never would have said anything if you weren't such a punk and there are dozens of reasons I'm better than you I'm sure. Having a better car just happens to be one of them.

So, what kinda times are you running in the 1/4 with your $20,000 Callaway package, bouncing off the rev limiter and all?

Bring $5k to Laguna Seca and you're on. Best lap time out of 3 timed runs.
