heat soak is going to happen whether the car is a DD or not. unless you are only making a few passes in the day and you have time to sit with the hood open and a bag of ice on the intake, heatsoak will be present.

I dont agree. lighter wheels and a ligher driveshaft will cost craploads more than to upgrade to power needed to move the stock heavy stuff. suspension and brakes def, but lighter driveshafts are not worth the money unless you are into serious racing.
