Never noticed while it was stock but when it was tuned it would chirp in between 1st and 2nd gear every single time and it would also chirp in between 3rd to 4th. No need for a underperforming manual tranny

WOW, I was going to reply till I saw papabearcamaro's reply and I looked at the date. He lives near me and I know he sold his Camaro almost 4 years ago. Damn, this thread is OLD!

p.s. I have a tune and a few mods and second gear is not a little chirp. It is a good healthy squawk!

I can get a nice "chirp" out of 2nd most times, but it really depends on a lot of things - as others have said.

PZeros + cooler temps + Sport Mode - Traction Control = plenty of spinning, chirping, and barking, even into 3rd gear if you're really on it. Mine does anyway.

PZeros + warmer temps + T/C = very little spin on take off and no shift chirps.

wow another necro thread! Since installing the supercharger it can chirp 1-2 and 2-3 with no effort with tc on. It gets kind of annoying if I want to have a good launch.
