So, I got pulled over - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I was pulling into the icehouse (convienance store) and the sheriff pulls me over into the parking lot. I'm thinking, oh crap, he's busting me for a muffler delete and being loud. WRONG, he wants to see my car and offers to drag race me in his interceptor. A thousand thoughts go through my mind, yeah right?, you gonna bust me?, I wasn't born yesterday?..... He said no really, I have a place that's legal to race. I turned him down, since I had 150 miles on the car. He said call me when you have 2,000 miles on the car and we'll run. I said OK. All I have to say is God bless Texas and our law enforcement, because they know what is BS and what isn't.

That is cool! I have been pulled over twice on my can-am spyder motorcycle.....because they wanted to check it out. Scary the first time it happened because I was speeding 3 minutes earlier testing out a new windshield.

Cool, I work for Bombardier, not on the recreational vechicle side, I fly their jets. They build cool stuff. I get stopped all the time from people wanting to look at my plane. I feel like a celeb, driving the planes and MY car.

Got his name. A new friend of mine. I didn't talk about the 30 minutes we talked about his drag racing as a "kid" growning up. He's the coolest cop I've met. And, yes I got his number.

Greece has some cops that are in a ton of trouble. So does Rochester I didn't know about Niagra though

No kidding! I did it last race. Kinda boring, but cool for me. It was my first time to fly over, the last two years I was in the stands. I'm a NASCAR fan but I have season tickets to TMS, so I go to IRL too, Bombardier Employee IRL are bench seats

. As far as speed, IRL smokes Nascar, but I love Nascar.

BTW, I live 8 miles from the track. As long as you park your Camaro in front of my house, you are invited to park and overnight for Nascar. Personally I drive my Harley to the race, we park at the gate.
