ntmad8tr - Love the look, I would go black myself but that looks so great!

How much did the rim/tire package cost you? The MRR's go for like $1200-1300 + tires. What tires did you put on and what was the total cost?

I went with Nitto Invos. Total was ~$2050. With a great deal from discount tire.

I suppose there are pro's and con's to this situation so I am still not 100% sure what I want to do. I really just wanted to make sure those tires would work OK and if there were (if any) negatives to dropping down the size. The difference is so small I guess the only issue is the speedo, but I would imagine that can be re-calibrated?

To Beaver Creek: How much faster is the speedo?
Other areas that could be impacted include ABS functionality and traction control. You are always better off getting the correct size the car is calibrated for.

The stock tire size is...

FRONT: 245/40-21
REAR: 275/35-21
I did a little digging and found that by adding 10MM to the width for both front and rear (keeping the same Aspect Ratio) opens up a few more possibilities in the $300 range at Tire Rack when shopping by wheel size.

Doing it this way increases the Diameter (both front and back equally) by only 1/4" which is not worth worrying about and the added 10MM width can be easily accommodated.

Either way, I think I'm going to be a little nicer to my tires... On second thought maybe not....
