The color in any anodized finish comes from dye. Over-aggressive cleaning with a caustic cleaner will cause the dye to bleed out.

I think the best option at this point is paint...not sure powder coat will stick to an anodized finish.

Thanks going to ask the guy if he thinks that and if that's true I'll stick to painting them. What color with a black car would look good on the tires? Here is my car now.

I thought your car was red from the picture. I say stick with a satin or semi gloss black...

They aren't replicas. They are forged aluminum wheels. Also the red Camaro was the owner of the original wheels. My car is black as you can tell

Glad they are legit... I still think Black on Black is the way to go. I like the semigloss for easier clean up...
