Ordered Z/28 CAI and then went for a cruise.

Returned home to cool off. 100 out there today.

Then I did some interior decorating.

We got one back in May of last year and have almost 17,000 miles on it.
First thing you need to do is get the windows tinted to help that tiny AC out.

Removed rear "Gold" bowtie and moved the "RS" over to the middle.

That would be awesome! I would love to meet up with some locals for a cruise. We'll have to set that up. Don't think it's going to cool down any time soon. Just came in from the garage, boy it's hot out there today! Time for a beer.

Did a few small things today.

Installed GM Performance pedal set.

Also installed billet e-brake handle cover, radio knobs, cup holder cover and door locks. Put an SS trunk lid emblem on my dash too.

Billet trunk button ring as well. Need to get the one for the mirror controls.

GM SS tire caps, why not?

Have to say the billet door locks are my favorite mod so far. They have a very solid sound when you lock the doors and are visible outside the car.

How hard was the pedal install? That is next up on my list and remember the gas pedal being a bitch to install on 2000 Z28

It's the exact opposite LOL. The gas pedal is a complete replacement, you simply remove the screws and the plug and you're good to go. Disconnect the battery before unplugging to be safe. The clutch and brake pedals are bastards! The rubber ears must be stretched over the metal pedal and it isn't easy. I used a little soap and water along with a slim plastic trim tool to stretch them over. Not a fun job in this heat, should have waited until the early morning when it was cool to do it.

Easy

Not so easy!

Got them from PHASTEK. $29.95 on sale, use your CAMARO5 member discount too. They have several finishes including painted. I prefer the polished look. Not sure how the painted ones would hold up.

http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...ock-bezels.htm

My tips for installation:

Don't use tools to remove the old ones or install the new ones. This way you will avoid scratching your interior and it's also unnecessary. Use a paper towel and grip tightly with your fingers to remove your stock door pins. The stock pin bezels (the part that the lock pin protrudes from) is made of rubber. Using your finger push one side of the rubber bezel against the door and it will pop out. Put a towel over the new aluminum bezel and tap it in. You might have to reposition it a few times, but it's no big deal. Tighten the new door pins finger tight, I also used a touch of blue Loctite. Note that the door pins are interference fit. That means they don't thread on cleanly, the same is true of your plastic pins. Just snug them down by hand and you're done. The new pins sit slightly higher which is normal. Enjoy!

Took the fabric off and plasti dipped the interior dash trim pieces white. Like the contrast but may try some other colors

Your white trim came out great! I like that, might do something similar later on.
