Not when you factor in mileage were and tear I have 23,000 miles I would say the 1,000 for the car and about 500 in up keep well worth it. Not a spot of rust underneath my car I'll tell you after a couple winters your rims will start to look bad your paint will have scratches bushing will start to dry rout thing will fail a lot fast then on a car that never sees salt.

do as you like but even before I sold the truck I drove in the snow. don't understand the reason for a beater. It is just a car, if it gets a booboo, it can be fixed. Life is too short to leave it parked.

123,000 miles on the OD, scratches, chips on the wheels and on the paint, 3 winters under my belt and still going strong. I bought my car to drive, not to keep emaculate.

Well its a v6 if I bought a 6 I wouldn't care ether you will when it's time to sell it. I know I'll get top dallor I would never buy a camaro that was drivin in the snow.

I don't drive my car in the winter. I have a 2002 Ford Focus ZX3. Winter tires and the Quaife LSD (its also lowered) really make it a killer in the snow. Too much fun. Here's winter configuration.
