Someone said the parts market for the GTO isn't good... Does that mean performance parts would be hard to find?? I'd def. put a CAI, cam & exhaust on it.... would that be hard to find? I want a decently fast V8 that I can put stuff on... not have to search high & low & still possibly not find any performance parts for it....

And just for the record I know multiple people who have bought and sold cars on Ebay without a problem. One even was international.
The price comments actually were in response to garagelogic. IMO, though, I would not trust a large transaction item (like buying a used car) to the ebay venue. Most of my purchases on ebay are for $25 or less items and I've had a 70/30 (+/-) experience. Those times I got burned (usually misrepresentation of the item) I could live with on such cheap stuff. I would not do a large ticket item on ebay. But that's just me.

The stuff you listed would be easy to find. Its for the engine and it was said the aftermarket for that was good.

www.ls1gto.com you can find plenty of aftermarket parts. Amazing car and now that I have my Camaro and have drivin it some, can say I miss the GTO's interior! But don't be suprized insurance may be more mine was. Low production and aussie parts arn't cheep if you cant find them in a junk yard or a GTO forum in US.

The front of that car just screams 95 Grand Am to me. I wouldn't be buying it for the looks either.

That is the difference between the 5.7 GTO and the 6.0 GTO

The 2004 model had the tailpipes on the same side... does that alter the entire looks of the car? No..... It doesnt make the whole car look bad... Does it look like shit though? yes....

I think the hood scoops really make the car look a lot better, more than the exhaust.. but they did better in 05-06... I think the car overall, resembles a Neon or something.. but it'll haul ass and thats what matters to me.

for a daily driver i would go with the Monte SS. if you want an overall performer and driver I would go with the TA Firebird, great motor and looks the best out of all the rest IMO.
