I always wonder what happens to a great car....then I see posts like this. Sorry, not trying to be a jerk but these cars were never meant to be bagged...for any reason. Nothing wrong with upgrading the suspension, but I think most would agree that bagging it would not be an upgrade.

I'm not an expert on these things, but I think bags kill the handling of whatever car they are bolted to.
Bags are not designed for any kind of performance role; whether we're talking drag, road course, top speed, autocross, etc.

Bags only have 1 role. And that is to provide a certain look.

I think no performance gains can be had when bagging a car.

This will be the kit I will be going with. I believe they are the best of the best. What do you all think?

The picture below is a general idea how it'll look. Different wheels, no decals but close.
BREAKING: This car will be at the 2015 SEMA Show at the "I am a Douche" booth. Look for it in the South Hall.

Spend 1700 bucks and get SLP's Coilover package vs 3500 bucks for the bag system. You can adjust the height for shows or lowrides, and then when you go out for the track then you have something to be able to control. Bags tend to roll way too much on the force and the dampering is not as controlled.

Use the remaining as you like for cosmetics, Z28 stuff.. etc.
But its your car and I totally understand just don't regret with could have and would have on just making the car look bad ass.. make it perform bad ass with killer mods as well.

Good Luck either way..

Big mistake. Sure it is your car, but you asked. $3500 can be a lot of power, sound, etc. Air bags take away performance big time and cost a lot.

You should do what you want, but realize a 1LE owner won't be impressed, but there are folks who put gold trim on Toyota Yarus and padded roofs on Honda Accords so to each their own. Others will just look at it as silly, so what.
