Gusgp...Just keep us informed and thanks for you input. As I said my low mileage Camaro has this radio issue. Regardless, a late model, low mileage, Gen 5 Camaro should not experience these audio issues that only occur in low temps.

I am not the only one experiencing this cold temp radio issue. Pissed off that my 2011 now out of warranty and I will pay with my time, effort, expense to try to get this radio issue fixed.

Last GM product I bought before my Camaro was a new in 1976 Eldorado convertible. Loved that Eldo just like I love my Camaro. But that Eldo had many issues and it was about 35 years before I bought another GM product. Love the Camaro, radio not the only issue I have had (consistent issues with automatic transmission during warranty and current not warranty covered for transmission software upgrades). Thinking not going to buy another GM product in the future.

Radio should not start to crap out starting at under 6,000 miles regardless of age. I also have a 1966 T-Bird convertible with the factory stock AM FM radio. After 49 years that T-Bird factory stock radio still works perfectly but can not say the same for my low mileage 2011 Camaro radio.

Cold weather seems to cause a lot of issues. My bluetooth has stopped functioning for the third winter in a row. I know exactly what will happen. I will bring the car into the dealership and they will confirm the problem. They will leave it in the warm service bay and voila it won't fail again. It is not the radio since the Mylink system along with the faceplate were replaced in summer 2013 to resolve a different issue, and the minute it got cold it went down again. Since the Mylink system has been replaced it should leave very few other components to replace. Perhaps they will actually fix it this time.

UPDATE: New radio installed and working, but no diagnosis from the local dealer, the service manager says it will go back to GM and they will possibly dig into it. I doubt it, unless all of them act up...

Thanks for keeping us updated. Twice this winter my 2011 2LT radio stopped working during extreme below zero cold temps. Radio stops working (hit and miss) at below zero temp but CD player continues to work.

Not acceptable on a 2011 Camaro with less 8,000 miles.

Similar issues. Audio in car(including door ding and blinker blips) just work when they want to. Now the last 3 days, it won't work AT ALL. I have a 2013 and never brought in to GM for an update...I'm guessing that might help as a couple people mentioned.

GRRRRR
