Mightve been a waste of a story but figured Id lay that down as an option.
The car was paid off already. Somewhere over the next few weeks, a gently used LS3 will be sold to someone.....Wash, rinse, repeat.

It was most likely disconnected before they took off with the car. And in some instances, the thieves are using the OnStar electronics to gain access and steal the car.

As for giving the thief weapon and ammo? Not my problem. My problem is the stolen car which I want found ASAP. Given normal local law enforcement response times to GTA, the added firearm will make it a higher priority.
Leave a .38 revolver and .357 Magnum ammo. That will learn them.......

OP all the best getting you Camaro back un damaged.

Onstar is removed in a few seconds, it can also be used to pop the door locks if hacked. RFID can be picked up when you use your remote door locks. These cars are stolen and driven away in about 3 to 5 minutes. Ravelco may help, but the wiring that is interrupted can eventually become common knowledge and bypassed as well. I would install some hidden relays that need to be powered by whichever circuits you choose in series with fuel, starter, ecm, or ignition circuits.

OP, sorry about loss of your baby. Sweet looking ride, and I do hope it is recovered for you... it does happen sometimes, for better (if it was a joy ride and they didnt trash it) or worse (if its stripped or wrecked, or both).

Best of luck with the recovery, let us know how it turns out for you. Also we'd like to know how (which method) they stole it.

Not your problem unless said thief comes back armed and wants more and shoots you or a loved one.
