Typically is mine also, however there are times where one must park with the general public.

I just wish all parking was like this....

To me, Lambo doors are right up there with 26" wheels & rubberband tires, and all the chrome sticky things they sell at Autozone. That's what they make me think of when I see them. However that is just my humble opinion, and we know about opinions.

I really don't know about the structural integrity of the kits. I would be weary of what they would do to the door frame structure over time, but perhaps the kits take care of the stress point issue.

The other aspect is what is required for installation. If it in anyway involves cutting, or permanently changing any of the stock configuration, I wouldn't do it. Simply because if you ever do, and one day you will, want to sell the car, the market will be very slim for you. You will want to be able to return the car to stock when it comes time to sell of trade. (Or when you have the epiphany that these look really silly on anything but a Lambo)

That is a good spot. I have a favorite spot at most places I go to park, selected for protective reasons. None are as safe as your spot in the picture though.

Hang on let me write this down, " Car shows are to support charity, not to gain attention and boost the ego's of the car owners with lambo doors"

got it, thanks !

ah, ok. I'd never walk up to someone to tell them their doors looked terrible. That's a D bag move.

Especially the driver of a 370Z on Sunday with our Galveston cruise of 200+ cars. The guy looked like John Coffee from The Green Mile (Michael Duncan RIP 2012) I kid you not and I thought he was going to rip me a new one for cutting him off avoiding traffic. No, he chased me into a gas station to start raving on my exhaust (NPP wth??) and wanted to show me his slammed and cambered vert Z. It ended really well and we both made new friends.
Very good point. While my post was slamming lambo doors (no pun intended), I also have respect for whatever people do to their cars. We all come from different backrounds and have a different perspective. It's part of what makes life interesting. I have also learned, over the years, not to make too deep assumptions about people based on first impressions. There is nothing more valuable at a car show than the people that own the cars, and each and everyone brings something to the table. Just because a mod is something I wouldn't do doesn't mean I should judge the person who did.

Pros? I don't think there are any.

Cons? Well, why waste money on your doors, when you could be wasting money on making your car faster? Take the door money and spend a little bit by doing a track day, or go to a test and tune at the local drag strip.

You will thank me later. And you will no longer even consider buying doors.

I've thought about getting them not so much for the look as for two reasons. One, I'm a tall guy, but I have shot knees from sports. I have to sit closer to the pedals or it bothers them. As a result, I need more room to open the door to get out. I thought lambo doors might help. Two, I figured I could open them without fear of smacking into other cars. I'm always very careful when opening due to how long our doors are.

Guys with lambo doors, do they help in that type of situation?

The only cons IMO are you get people who think their opinions matter when being negative about YOU doing something to something YOU own. I've seen a lot of cars that arent Lambos that have the lambo doors and thought it was cool. If you want em, do it. Its your car and your money, F what anyone else thinks. As long as they are installed correctly, I see no cons to the structure of the car. Like a few others have said, if you plan to sell it in the future, it may present a problem.

Either way, its your choice. Happy modding.

I haven't seen them in real life but I would want them on my car. I don't know what everyone is talking about teens putting them on their junk cars. And a lot of people saying its a douche bag look yet half of you drive around cammed with open headers lol
