So what exactly would you say is the limit of the stock springs and valvetrain?

Totally seriously depends on the cam, boost level, rpm level, etc. If you're spinning the hell out of a high lift cam at high boost levels...
So, when a valve is opening against a tight spring, another valve is closing on a similar spring. The valve closing is helping the other valve to open when it's all said and done. That's a really simplistic way of looking at it. Said all of that to say all of this. If you can get the benefit of a guy's opinion who's been there and done that for the price of a set of valve springs, ummm, maybe you need to pay attention to what he has to say . |

Well just talking about a boosted stock cam ls3 motor. Is there a boost level where you should consider springs or anything else even if it's stock cam
