You guys got me curious about these oil squirters, so I pulled one out. It has a spring loaded one way valve inside that takes some pressure to open. I wonder if they only spray when the oil pressure rises or if they spray all the time even at idle. When I spray a little air through it it looks exactly like nitrous being purged.

There is a set minimum to open, like 27 psi. Will have to look in the service manual for the exact pressure.

Been doing a little further inspection, and looks like I had a bent rod in #6. That's why one side of the ring lands were clean and the other side was all black. Here's a picture. The other 4 rods seem to be good and straight. I'm really not sure how it got bent.

Checking deck height, with stock rods the piston seems to be .014" in the hole. I could be off, I need to check the other cylinders and compare them all.

And here's my ghetto setup to cc the heads. Best I can tell so far is they have a 60cc chamber. Gonna double and triple check though.

I guess I'll copy off MagnumForce and show all my intake valves as well. This is with 37,000 miles on the car. Could be better could be worse.

They really are pretty! It's a shame they will never be seen. I need to do some more checking but so far it looks like there are zero clearance issues. I used a die grinder and ground out the taper part of one of the stock pistons so I could test fit them. I was worried since they are so beefy compared to the stock rods, but there is tons of clearance. I still need to buy some ARP2000 rod bolts and then have them resized on the big end with the bolts installed. But this is a big piece to the build, big thanks to Jason! Him and these rods are what pushed me into building a motor and going all out instead of just throwing a used motor in it and dialing the boost back to 12. Which I could have done and been back on the road already... But hopefully the wait and money will be worth it and I'll have one bada$$ V6.
