Very innovative and the deflector flaps work well in-concert with the Camaro.
Practical too.

It measures the same as you see in this image. 8mm deep by 5.5mm wide. There may even be something better to use but this seemed to work pretty much perfect.

Does anyone make black, slightly thinner versions of the chrome - that would be perfect.

oh and by the way (your car looks great and to each his own...) but any coolness you got from removing the chrome was instantly negated by adding mud flaps..sorry.

Maybe you just need to see more pictures of them... keep telling me how much you don't like them and I'll keep posting more and more pictures of them!

Awesome, I'm not quite understanding how the trim mounts though. It is C-shaped, so what goes in the mouth of the C? Can you add the trim without removing the lights? Where did you hide the seams? And more details on what these clips look like and how you remove them please.

Here's some pictures of them with a fake carbon fiber print but you can see the clips molded into the edge of them. They just need to be unclipped or broken off from the inside or somehow released with a plastic trim tool perhaps from the outside... someone might explain that one but at least you can see them here.

As far as the black trim I put in the gap, I just shoved one strip around the whole curved bottom to fill it in and that would have been enough really unless you look at it with the trunk opened. To finish off the top edge I put the trim along the edge of the black plastic piece above the tail lights by cutting it to the width of each light and then sliding it on the same way it's supposed to be slid onto the edge of a car door and it looks almost perfect. Just play around with it... you might find out an even better way!

Is there that big off a gap there when you take out the trim ring that you need the door edge guard?
