Really hope these work out for you. As you know been following your build awhile now. It would be a shame to end up testing a set of one offs and them not work out with all that other $$$ going into your car.
They look great though and Jason seems to know his stuff. Your still braver than me though. Best of luck and I'll be anxiously following. Still would like to see you and Smithnc have that race.
Haven't heard anything on his build lately. Think he said it would be spring but he had some plans as well.

That would be a shame! But I cant think like that... They were made to the specs of the factory rods except for the small end was made with no taper so custom pistons are a must. I've measured them about a thousand times and everything seems spot on comparing to the factory rods. The only difference is these seem to be very slightly longer but we can compensate for that when we make the pistons. Still need to finish tearing this new engine down and check against those rods to be sure. Problem is time.. I need to get the block honed before the pistons can be made and wiseco told me 2-3 weeks lead time to make them. The machine work will take some time too, it's the hurry up and wait game...

May want to take advantage of the BMR black Friday sale and get your rear suspension lined up before you get wheel hop. Trailing arms, toe rods, UCA bushing and Subframe bushings. I'm thinking about adding the final piece, the lower control arm so I know it will go straight.

That's a good idea, looks like 15% off. I had always planned on trying to go with a solid subframe bushing. Has the polyurethane worked pretty well for you? Do you get much squeaking going on? Its definitely a lot less money.

Also is there any need for adjustability on the toe rods and trailing arms?

I'll be buying all this in a few months anyway might as well save some money.

I'm not trying to be downer but you should have swapped in that LS3 you pictured a few pages back. There will always be a limit to what a 220 CI engine can produce power wise on gasoline. Maybe 500 HP.....this turbo V6 has gotten to be quite a time and money pit for you. There is NO replacement for displacement. Swap in a LSX 454 and ya got 650 HP and torque like that. And I drive a 2012 V6 auto, but once you blew ur engine.....it was time to sell the turbo kit and put in some real displacement. Hey, its not too late.
Or a Mast 427. No disrespect.....just my opinion.

Avoid the differential bushings if you don't want noise. I don't think I had any increase with the subframe bushings but the diff ones are insane. Before with just the inserts you could feel the rear end swaying around, now with just the poly bushings it's good.

No need for adjustable toe rods and trailing arms unless you plan on lowering alot. I have a 1.2" drop and still got the alignment in place.

I need to get some stuff from them for all 3 cars. Never owning this many cars again.

Seriously though, everybody and their mom has an LS motor. Sometimes it's nice to be different.

Good info, I need to get me a list together and give BMR a shout.

Ok, seeing how ya gonna be wrenching and writing on this thing a lot, you need to get your terminology right. It's an engine, an internal combustion engine. Not a motor.... electric motor. Gearheads make this mistake constantly, I guess out of ignorance. Do you know why you never hear anyone say they an electric engine? Because it doesn't exist. Repeat after me......gasoline engine, electric motor.

Well if I'm wrenching on it I can call it whatever I want. Do you call motorcycles enginecycles then? And is this motor oil supposed to go in electric motors? You sound like a guy that reads about working on cars instead of actually doing it. Move along you're done here.
