Hey Stephen. On my car which is different I know but I have tried many different wheel and tire options. I know for a fact you car wasn't giving you the full potential power wise with that tire size. Even though the lights may be off for a moment the cars system will give you say 80 percent power because of tire diameter parameters not being stock. This is why I no longer run a once experimented 28" rear with 26.7" fromt tire option which handled like a dream but power was not 100%. I know for sure if you get good tires in Z28 stock size for the rear you would surely see better runs.

I could try again on the stock tires...it didn't feel like it was down in power.

No I meant stock diameter size drag radials bro. Not the stockers. Don't want to hurt that baby with all those delicious mods. Also funny thing is at times it is hard to tell if your car is pulling timing or not. Those numbers on the slip don't represent the cars power potential.

18s will not work on the Z/28 correct because of the rotor/calipers? I think I asked Stephen before, I just cannot remember.

my 18" corvette replicas would not clear the Z/28 brakes when I tried. These 20" road race wheels cleared fine.

That is right. Now I remember you saying that. I believe we were discussing if you could put an 18 inch Weld Drag Pak on your car.

Stephen, do you think it is possible to get this car to a 10.9 ET with heads/cam and supporting mods? Even if that means changing out the brakes to a ZL1 set-up to run a 17 inch Weld RT-S set-up?
