I do alot more ported LS3 for the ZL1 guys than the stock one but most are going to get a tune. I say that 10% need a tune for a ported LSA were 50% need a tune for LS3.

So if I were going to get a tune anyway, an LS3 would be the way to go?

Porting does not make the Throttle Blade larger. LSA 87mm has an 87mm Blade. LS3 90mm has a 90mm Blade. Porting just removes the restriction in front of the blade and smooths out the transition.

I have a good LSA VMAX with Half Shaft Mod for sale if anyone wants a deal?

From the drivers seat you may not notice anything but Like I said above, with an 18% lower Long tube headers, ID-850 injectors we had a measurable gain at the track in back to back testing.
