I really don`t understand why people get upset because a magazines opinion (and it`s just that, an opinion) isn`t the same as the readers. You bought or will buy a Camaro because of how it makes you feel, NOT how it made the reviewer feel!

I know we all want to have favorable reviews because it confirms our views, as for myself I really don`t care what others may think only what makes ME, not THEM happy............ENJOY what you have or will have and worry less about "reviews".

Enjoy your car

The looks thing gets to be rather humorous Such as:

Young Lady at Gas Station in Manistique, MI: "That Car is so sexy!"

Guy at Mall in Grand Rapids, MI: "That car is Bad!"

Sault Ste. Marie, MI: " Damn that car looks awesome!"

Traverse City, MI: "Wow!"

Grand Rapids, MI: " That car looks damn, HOT!"

Seven days of driving and not one, that's right, not one derisive comment about how this car looks.

So, it all boils down to one's personal taste. (sure seems like a lot of folks like the looks for sure.)

Please, exterior styling is what gets the people to flock to this car still, even after 4 months I still get the "rockstar" treatment.

I agree...Except in this case the reviewer owns a 2008 Mustang. It makes his review seem biased. Not very credible.

Take what you read in the rags with grain of salt. Look at the numbers and try to avoid the purely subjective category's such as appearance/syle. People decide this themselves with their pocketbooks. I subscribe to MT, C&D,R&T and several Vette magazines and enjoy reading them as soon as they arrive, but it never ceases to amaze me how prejudice they seem to be sometimes. Recently C&D did a test with top-end convertibles and had new machines from everyone except chevrolet(Vette). They actually used a rental with over 15k miles on it and, as expected, complained about it. Don't think a Vette rental has been rode hard and put up wet I have some swamp land to sale you.LOL

I care less what R&T says about the exterior!!! I can tell you this from personal experience with my SS, I drove up to a Shell Gas station, and it was a Challenger SRT and a Mustang GT already there. When I got and started to pump my gas, everyone at the station was looking at my car. And low and behold, the drivers of the Mustang and the Challenger walks over and looked at my car and gave me props and gave me 'grats for a "beautiful car" (they really said that's a SWEET LOOKIN M*&^%$ ). IMO the heck with R&T! <---- just my 2 cents ...

While I think the Challenger and Mustang are nice looking car, the don't hold a candle to the Camaro. The car is an attention magnet. I've had mine for 2 weeks and get thumbs up and comments everywhere I go. I had a teenage girl come up the other day, take a picture of the Camaro emblem on the side and made that her phone background. Doubt that happens with the other 2.

Nah I'm just saying looks are subjective. Some guys like boobs, some like booty.

I only reference magazines for performance numbers and sometimes they are way off. You always have to take into account the driver. Looks are always up to the person buying the car. Some cars are sold on looks alone. In this case the numbers lean to the Camaro.

That's a weak argument. No one stares at a car because it is new.

Who can even tell a new car from one that's 2 years old, anyway? Is the 2010 Mustang getting more stares than the 2009?

As I said, weak argument.

Edit - As far as the rating goes, it is subjective. But giving the Camaro an 11.2 is just wrong and shows a lot of bias. I actually prefer the Mustang's exterior over the Camaro's, but not by much (probably rate them 14 to 13.5). The Challenger's probably the hardest to rate because it's styling is so retro; it could be rated ahead of both Mustang and Camaro depending on how much you appreciate retro styling.

It is not just looks. Check the performance numbers.

If it was just looks, the CHallenger might be the runaway winner.
