I'm not really out anything though, the Short Throw has to be added in as an additional option. Needless to say, the closeout of the 2015 netted me a nice $13,000 discount off MSRP so I'm not hearbroken in the least!! From Chevy's website.... Short throw is added separately from the 1LE package. 1LE does not include short throw. |

(answer: yes) I'll do a before and after vid of the length of throw. Would like to see a comparison against the MGW as well. They advertise 30% right?? I'm planning on doing the install today, as soon as I wade through the list of to-do's piled on me by the two evil blondes. (wife and daughter) |

Also how difficult is the Hurst short throw install for a noob?
I'm doing it tomorrow, my dad is going to help of course, and I have the instructions in hand. I'm handy but this the first time ever installing something like this. |

There are many really good videos on this install. It's very easy. If you can use a screwdriver you can do this swap.

The worst part is getting the rubber boot back on over the linkage. If you can get two arms up there, you've got it made. The first time I did this, I could only get one arm in there and It was absolutely maddening... |
