Well I might just do the 17% overdrive on the balancer and stick with my 2.5 on top to further reduce belt slip.
So you have a direct link to the kit?
Kinda want to know what I'm looking at price wise.
I've just been between upgrading what I got or going turbo.

Yea, I'm interested also. Looks like it would also improve flow of the water pump going with a 17% pulley as well as boost...

The 17% pulley would be just for the blower being a 3 belt system. So you don't have the issues related to overspinning the other accessories

Ah, I see, the others are on their own belt which is the normal size pulley -- perfect... Didn't catch that...

With a 17% lower, that would necessitate injector upgrade too, correct? I would assume anything over 10% (like the LSA) would need that...

Does that also mean the 20% sizes are an option?

Since it is using the lsa water pump, yes it's possible. It will require the idler relocation bracket, or a 50mm lower idler. I'm running a relocation bracket, 50mm lower idler and 100mm upper idler. But I'm running the 9.55 which I believe is the 17% deal.

It works out to be 40% overdriven with my pulley combo.

If you are using lsa injectors, you absolutely will need to. Since you are still on the stock upper I would run a 10 or 10.5 personally.

I figured doing the lower et.al would make more sense for me. Also doing 85#injectors. I'm beefing up the drive line first, then the Ron Davis heat exchanger before doing any more boost - it gets too hot in Texas to not address that). Like the idea of splitting out the belts... May do the exchanger and belt at the same time...

Thanks for the insight!

-Don
