Same here...summit white comm. ed.
Hesitant to Dremmel, don't want to butcher it.
Going to investigate YouTube for a DIY. If I find, I will post.

Ps. Camaro Dude...was this time consuming? On a scale of 1-10 difficulty what would you rank?
TY Much!

Maybe you should trade your Camaro in for a Prius, too!

If anything, what I wrote was so completely anti-corp, anti-establish, anti pharma, anti-(I'll get kicked off this forum if I finish this paragraph in its entirety) , but trust me, that it would get your gidiya up, up and going

It was a bit time consuming. I started in the morning finished at night.

Like with many things else, if you have the right tools, it's not that hard. I would say patience is key with this project. Don't rush it through.

The sanding part, and getting the "line" right, was the most difficult for me. Any mistakes there, and it will look like crap.
For some it might come easy. For others like me it was hard. I think that was the only part of it that I'll call difficult.

Taking door panels off doors, again with the right tools, was a breeze, almost like LEGO.
Taking inner plastic panel off door panel itself though, with the zillion plastic screws, was a bit of a bitch, now that my memory is being refreshened. /:

Well go figure??? I just traded in my 2015 Comm. Edition for a 2014 ZL-1 that I got a pretty good deal on. And wouldn't you know it. Same Ashen Gray Metallic door panels and sunuvagun, the brightest blue accent lighting that you have ever seen. Don't ask me how or why. It just is! It even shows up under the brightest night lights in my local Kroger parking lot. That wasn't the reason I traded up to a ZL-1 obviously. But now I know I wasn't crazy for insisting that GM do something about the issue with my previous car. Obviously it is possible. I don't have a cell phone or camera or I'd take a picture of it. But trust me the lights are bright blue and beautiful.

I replied to you in this thread here with a couple of night pics...http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=457651

Yes, unfortunately, it will in fact leave a slight "white line" in the daytime.

It's not THAT bad, but if you want a true 100% OEM quality finish, this may pose a problem.

I found out one night when I was driving on a really dark road that I saw a little red light showing. I wish it was a little brighter too... Do you know if our CE cars also have the lighting on the dash part as well??

No Gen5 that I know of, other than the concept model itself, had Ambient lighting on the dash. If this had ever been the case, we'd all be ordering OEM ABL dash parts, instead of, all of this kaos.
