dang, i didnt realize vortech/paxton does not offer a warranty on their head units. I thought this was standard practice with any performance product especially at this price point. anyone else have issues with this or want to elaborate or explain?

Lol what! The Novi 1500 in the ecs kit absolutely has a warranty. It's the big race blowers that do not and the same goes with procharger.

Wow, so much bad info.

There is a warranty. Vortech/paxton are available in self contained or engine oil fed.

not true vortech has a warranty and the 1500SL means self lubricated it uses a specific oil as well. The YSI does use car oil but that blower is proven all over industry no need to discuss that.

Lubrication is self contained with uses its own lubricant. Vortech uses motor oil and it breaks down the oil and more likely if a line fails you are toast.

If your charger is hotter it won't last as long motor or supercharger.

I am buying a truck the two had another brand supercharger and these guys don't have faith either they say they may last 20k miles or 250k miles it's a crapshoot. Sorry I am For a sema vehicle that was celebrity owned buy I will be selling the whipple. I hoped it would be more reliable than my previous one. My Prochargers have held up to 138 k miles without a failure. The guy who bought it has 80k more on it.I had it sent to Procharger to get checked out at 138k and zero play.

this is the first time i've heard of anybody having a mechanic problem with a centrifugal, or did you mean the problem is with the whipple?
