After looking at the vid. I'm guessing the before pull was on a higher octane than 91 since 20psi on 91 could easily hurt the car. So, depending on the octane the beginning timing was probably too low for the fuel.
does any of that matter? Not really. We use methanol all the time. I prefer it over race type fuel because a lot easier for a street car. |

Don, being 5000+ ft I'm sure there was a 20-25% correction, so octane/etc isn't nearly as much of an issue since car probably only made ~750rwhp actual.

I have the alky control dual nozzle setup on my car with 100% meth. I use the windshield washer bottle. it is big and last a long time. You can be hammering it pretty hard and still get 4 tanks of gas to meth fill up. I got a little bottle on the car that is the separate windshield washer bottle. it is one of those windshield washer relocate bottles that come with the cold air intake kits where you have to remove the factory ww bottle.

Because I'm researching a water/methanol kit for my 5th Gen/Vortec, i'm fact checking like crazy. They used 93 octane on the first dyno and a 50/50 water/methanol blend on the 2nd pull. Which based on my water/methanol research should have added 25 effective octane points, so 93 pump gas + 25 O.Points = 118. Which is racing fuel levels on pump gas, I like this math.

Well I have absolutely researched water/methanol injection to death. So I finally got out my credit card last night and ordered a Snow Performance Stage 2 Boost Cooler.
I'm expecting it before the weekend, so I will probably install it this weekend when I'm off work. If anyone has any install suggestions please let me know. |

Should have went Alky control with the ais trunk mounted tank. That's the best setup imo.

Safety. If you don't know why you really shouldn't be running 100% meth.... but to help you out.... apart from having a fairly low boiling point, it burns invisible. Doubt any of your cars are at that level to run 100% meth anyway. Just run VP or E85, you've already spent a fortune on the car.
