All it takes is money $$$$$$$$$$

Fuel system is one of those things we all grapple with. Expensive to go big right off the bat. But you know you'll probably want more HP. But it sucks spending money on something you know you won't use right now.

I love this time of year. Spring is coming. This FI board heats up with people looking at options and the installs and dyno's will be coming soon. Good stuff.

Exactly. I'm telling myself now that 700 is what I want and 800 possibly one day, I don't really see myself ever going to 1000hp. But I'm the type that will get hooked.

The things I'm considering now:
1. Fuel
2. Clutch
3. Traction and wheels

3. Traction and wheels

My recommendation to you for those three things would be:

1 A fuel system to support at least 1000whp.
2 at least a dual disk clutch.
3 MT drag radials can get you a long way. So can some 17 inch wheels and tires. The 17 inch wheels will make a HUGE difference. Also do some rear suspension work.

There are some inexpensive vendors here that sell quality parts.

Way cool numbers man. Did you install a new clutch? Or does your stock one get the job done?

Not trying to thread jack(its on subject).

I'm wondering about fuel myself. What kind of fuel setup would be need for a safe install on a stock L99? I'm talking as stock as it gets, meaning nothing more then the base kit with no plans to ever go over 600-650rwhp.

I've read about 100 different threads on it but no one else seems to stay stock

Since I am the only real shop outside AGP to chime in here goes:

We sell "AGP AND INSTALL THEM"

We know their capabilities with all their turbo combinations- "WE HAVE DONE THEM"

Please lower you expectations to a realistic safe - 650-660 rwhp "THATS THE SAFE ZONE FOR ANY LS3"

Numbers sell kits, blown up engines, clutches, drivelines just create anger-"WE HAVE SEEN THIS FOR YEARS NOW ONLINE"

Agp makes fantastic products, but be realistic with your numbers and don't let the internet delegate your needs.....You will love your car at good safe power levels that don't break the bank.

BTW - We ship and receive cars to Washington yearly,we would be honored to build your car correctly.

This car is still going strong 2.5 years later - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318146

We are good at what we do,we don't scrimp the details, pay real close attention to the details!

Andy

I'm very very happy with my AGP system and we're just getting started on the power it can make on my platform.

Easy to install and very well designed.

Thanks Andy. I might have to take you up on your offer. A safe 650 is everything that I need to be honest.
