Do you think the Accel coils could help on a N/A setup, thats maxed out, and potentially E85? At all?

I really don't know. I don't even know if they will help me any or not. But I figured it couldn't hurt.... and they look cool lol.

Figured I would try polishing these downpipes. It's turning out pretty good, I need to get some finer compound to get it to really shine.

Just ordered an ATI Super Damper part#918636. It was hard to spend $335 on a harmonic balancer but I feel like it's something that is needed since I'll be pushing this motor so hard and being so mean to it.

ATI actually offers 3 units for our cars. A 25% underdrive, a 10% underdrive, and an OE size. I decided to stick with the OE size because I like my air conditioning here in Oklahoma.

I put a 25% under pulley on my G8, I noticed no difference in AC performance ?

How's the engine coming?

I went back and forth a bunch of times on which way to go... The tech guys at ATI suggested to go with the OE size, being in OK. I know when it gets over 100degreea outside my AC isn't as cold as I would like it to be so I didn't like the thought of it getting any worse. Plus I'm doing it more to protect the engine than to get extra horses from the underdrive(which probably isn't that much). I think I'll have plenty of horses anyway, probably as many as the transmission can handle...

And the engine is getting close.. Its been at the machine shop for over 5 weeks. They're killing me.. I went by there yesterday and everything is balanced and the block is honed, all clearances checked and adjusted. Just waiting for final assembly of the short block. Should be next week for sure. I'm getting anxious and I miss driving my baby!!

Since polishing those downpipes I have the urge to polish everything! So I polished the strut brace, turned out pretty good. Maybe I'll paint the ends black or something.

Here's what I'm using to polish this stuff. I bought it from Harbor freight, $10 for the discs and $5 for the compound. Most all the discs were 3,000rpm max but these were 30,000rpm max so I can put them in the die grinder.

I might buy some softer pads and some ultra fine compound so I can get it to shine like a mirror...
