Oh yea. Definitely. It's the entire shifter assembly, and it's crafted from billet aluminum.

I use Red Line Oil products exclusively on all the cammed/supercharged Camaro/Corvettes that I build at the shop.

I just bought Red Line D4 Trans Fluid and Gear Oil along with GM Limited Slop additive. Going to change them both today and I'm hoping it smooths out the manual shift feel.

Changed trans and rear end fluids with Red Line products and I'm pretty happy. Shifting feels much smoother especially when cold. No more slight grind with the 1-2 shift.

The buzzing you are talking about.... I can hear something stock fluid stock shifter 2200 miles. I only hear it when I'm Not on the loud pedal and no radio. Sounds like it's coming from shifter/radio area. Almost sounds like a slight vibration maybe. Will the fluid cure this??

Thanks

You should get it checked out specially if it's under warranty.

I may take it in and have it looked at I did say something to them and they drove it for a noise my wife noticed first sounded like air rushing... This don't matter how much you touch the pedal I only notice it when I just slightly touch it if I am on it the motor cancels the humming sound out.

that slight grind kills me every time, even took my '15 to the dealer when i had less than 800 miles for the same reason. They explained it was "normal" and to go easy until everything warms up. I'm gonna look more into this. Dumb question but Red Line fluids won't void warranties (in the event a mechanical failure happens) right?

See the warranty issue is very tricky. It all depends on your dealer. Perhaps you can request the dealer if he would be abl to change the fluids with Redline products. I love my camaro but these little things really bother me. We pay so much money for the vehicle. These issues should not be normal. God forbid if you were living in extreme cold climates, you'd probably just won't be able to shift. Goodluck, let us know.
