Worthless POS.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Can't tell if I offended you or you're simply explaining what happened to his dogs.

Lugs lock do zero. The thieves have a socket that tears those off.

It has nothing to do with how wanted the car is, it is ability to actually drive it.

I took mine to a Goodyear shop for an alignment and the tech couldn't even start it. I took my key back and went somewhere else but not before telling the manager that his employees (techs) are idiots.

Manual transmission equipped Camaro's are primarily what the thieves are after. In the case of the Camaro's being stolen and stripped, a manual transmission will help rather than hurt the chances of it being a target.

There have been hundreds of manual transmission 5th gens stolen. Trust me the thieves know how to drive a manual, and it is in now way a theft deterent. Maybe the random thief, but the professional theft rings the manual is actually targeted.

Don't worry about too much. I live in a pretty small town with a very low crime rate. On top of that I live in a gated community where most of my neighbors & I are retired military (Army, Marine & Air Force) and I park in a garage ... there has been a car or house broken into here in over 25 years.

When I'm out, I just try to park in safe, well let areas or in parking garages.

All systems are a waste of money. If the bad guy wants your car, he is going to take it.

Offended? No I wouldn't say that.

Just don't like the stereotyping of pit bulls....even those rescued from a dog fighting ring.

On topic...I just roll with the factory alarm and locking lug nuts. Then again I live in a small town in TN.

Then again last year my other half's car was "broken into" (she left the doors unlocked).

Really don't know how they didn't disturb the 7 dogs I have sleeping in a room right beside the carport.

I have insurance. Realizing that if a thief wants it that bad, nothing's gonna stop him from getting it. USAA will give me the money to get another one.
