Going to E85, from gas, about the same.

To me, that is. It was definitely noticeable.
Ok so def worth another $300?

I wasn't interested in this until I realized they sell e85 at the gas station that's less than a mile from where I work lol. I still want to see numbers of course. Same for that damn 80mm tb. Sounds interesting though

Has this issue been covered:

Already been tuned and retuned after adding more stuff, will I have to get yet another tune after this, either from overkill or back at the dyno or both or what

To run e85 you will need a retune. Have you guys talked to dave Steck at dsx? I know he has been working e85 magic on the v8s (just bought his kit) so he may be able to assist or be working on something for v6.

Thats fine, the people with nitrous issues may have to look elsewhere though.

So, on to my 4th revision of my E85 tune, and I have to say I am 100% happy with the choice to install E85.

the ability to go back and forth from E85 to 91 is great. The tune automatically adjusts based on the percentage of e85/alcohol in the tank.

That being said, to maximize both the gas tune and E85 tune, you should be filling up with either when you are on E/Gas light is on. That is going to take some getting used to for me, as I try to never go under half a tank.

the power gains are astronomical. I have no dyno numbers yet. but, just driving the car, and letting a few others drive the car who have only driven it on the 91 tune....they were floored. As am I.

A+ in my book!

So just to be straight, your not having to hook up the Autocal between fill ups? It automatically senses which fuel you've filled up with and runs the appropriate tune automatically? That's a huge bonus and a def reason for me to go ahead with the e85
