Personally, I just don't think the new exterior design is as nice as the '15s and before. The gills are gone, for one thing. It just doesn't grab me.

Now, the interior is outstanding!! I wish they would have done that sooner so I could have it in my Flash.

Maybe when the weather warms up for good, the sales will get better.

Thank god they took the fake gills away. That was the one thing I hated.

OK, while I think the actual front end of the 2016 is far more agressive, and better looking than the Toyota Avalon I stuck on it, you must admit the similarities. I am really shocking over the following of the "current" style vs. the "buck the trend" attitude that most Camaro owners (and potential owners) seem to favor.

I for one, bought a Camaro, and specifically an early 5th gen, because I liked it's comitment to the classic lines of the early Camaros that were ingrained in my mind as agressive, yet beautiful in their simple, sleek style.... but with the modern conveniences, power, safety and reliability of a modern vehicle.

IMHO the 2016 deviates from this model. It's body style takes you needlessly, further away from the classic style we love and covet, and more towards the homogenous style of a modern coupe.

I understand your preference, but what direction is it supposed to move, if not forward?
Like you, I appreciate the semi-retro style of the 5th generation, but most millennials, who are the future of the market, have different tastes. They want a futuristic design with lots of technology, which is the reason for (frivolous to me) gadgets such as changeable color LED lighting.

with the advertizing for the 5th and 6th many people think it only comes with a v6 or a 4banger. I consinatly have people thinking its a v6 because they saw a v6 on tv. GM barely mentions the v8 at all.
In places that see snow they are not selling because the weather has not broken yet. Its to cold icy and salt on the roads. dealers are just getting them in now around here. and no you cant test drive it because of the weather.
With all the mods iv done I probably have $45k into the car. I did all the labor. For $45k I can buy a new 2SS 6th gen M6 with a factory warranty that will keep up with my 5th gen and get better milage.

Suburban Philadelphia area has currently 40 2016's and most are pricey. There are only 7 2015's left in 100 mi. and the only SS left is a Green Flash Ed. that's been for sale for months. The new Camaro isn't moving here and some dealerships still have their initial deliverys still on the lot. I have yet to see one on the road. Dealers here must be getting them fully loaded because I've seen v6 cars high 30's and even over 40. SS have been between mid 40's to low 50's. That's advertised price but WOW! I was buying a2ss but was offered my 1ss for 30644 new and inside the showroom. My wife wanted the leather but I like cloth. 20% off sticker, I won.

Lol catfish mouth! I thought I was bad saying big mouth bass! Maybe paint a shark mouth on one and call it a Flying Tiger Ed. Seriously, they are a sweet performance car. Just came up short on the SS front. I like the non-SS front end better. I like my hood over all others and I know you early guys don't like my tail lights but I do. The new ones are worse. Maybe I'll get used to the 6 gen's. Good luck to all that enjoys their 6 gen.
