I've kinda been holding back a bit on mods just to see how it's going to run.. of course no issues with a new car and now the mods are starting. . Vtc and cold air is on its way and I want to buy the z28 spoiler and splitter then maybe wrap the hood but I'm on the fence

Still love mine, still want a 6 gen SS but that won't happen. I've had it form several years now, still feels like yesterday when I got it. The mods really wake thos car up. Unfortantually the LLT is a pain to tune. But I do take pride in the fact that I have a realativley unique sounding v6, ready for a set of solo high flows to make it really wild.

15 years or moee ago, I had an 85 Jeep Wagoner XJ (small Cherokee for non Jeep people) it had a POS 2.8 GM V6 in it. When the engine died, some research turned up that a Gen4 Camaro V6 was the same block and dropped right in place!
Talk about surprising a lot of people on the trail!

Thanks for the welcome. I do hope I can keep the old Camaro. It all depends on whether or not I wind up needing the garage space.

I just ran into a last generation Mustang GT with at least a super loud (straight pipe maybe) and raspy exhaust. He tried to lose me as he saw me coming. He was not able to. Wonder if he feels good about keeping up with a Camaro, or if he realised it was a v6?

I find it funny people consider v8s "muscle" cars and not these sixes when these sixes will keep up or beat so many well known "muscle" cars. Hell, the original z28 did the quarter in about 15 sec. No one questions the "muscle" status of that.
