Since one of the Elite catch cans isn't doing enough, I was thinking of running two. I also have the Elite Clean side oil separator.
Anyone run two cans in-line on the dirty side?

I have to stop this oil. Ive driven about 500 miles since the valve cleaning and the intake manifold is already coated. At this rate, I don't want to own this thing when my warranty expires next year.

I wanted to get the car tuned, etc. but the way things are going I might as well forget that stuff.

I have a billet (I think that's what it's called) catch can and it seems to be doing a good job. I recently removed the TB and it's clean. Every once in a while I use TB cleaner.

Carlos, Do you have the optional diffuser in the Billet catch can?

I'm probably going to switch to billet because this Elite can is letting too much through. Even though it seems to have oil in it time I check it. I'd hate to see how much oil it would suck in with no catch can.

I'm confused and not defending Elite as I had unrelated issues when first installed.
However I would contact them because it's a general opinion from those using cc's that all cans will catch but the Elite does the best job.
I would try to find out if maybe something is up with your can. I know that a billet can will catch some stuff but the Elite really keeps my system dry no matter my driving style.
GL and hope you get it worked out.

Can you take and post some pictures of your system and all routing and connections? If you like, you can email them to us. Do you have each checkvalve flowing away from the can? And finally, did you do the drill mod to the PCV orifice?

You have something definitely wrong as there should be no oil getting past the Catch Can if installed properly.

Please post up detailed pictures of every connection, the checkvalves up close showing the arrow direction, and how you have the cleanside unit installed (and the PCB barb drilled properly that is located in the top rear of the passenger side valve cover).

The second outlet most be connected to the barb you add just in front of the throttle body as well, and both checkvalves go inline on the outer fittings and must flow away from the can.

Done correctly, you should not be experiencing this issue.

Give us some tools to work with and we will have you fixed up in no time!

My can did not come with any check valves. I bought the catch can about a year and a half ago, when the car had only 700 miles on it.

I have the outlet from the valve cover coming into the top of the catch can above the coalescing media, and the side fitting has the hose leading to the intake manifold. I never bothered to install the clean side that I bought, as that tube is always clean, no oil in it or the intake tube.

Anyone run another catch can on the driver side?
I run a small Saikou Michi catch can (#2) on my clean side, and a RX can (#1) on my dirty side. Both work fine at 20 degrees F. The OEM clean side hose will eventually have oil migrating into the intake from the PCV. It depends on how much WOT driving you do, and how much the existing OEM hose "trap" is saturated.
