Above post updated to answer the questions posed.

Our V6 is now due into the shop around the 3rd week in September. The kit will be developed soon after that (V6 kit). Also, if we can get a V8 automatic into the shop ASAP, we can start working to design the Mach-X kit to combat the AFR kicking in. Are there any local V8 automatics that are available?

I originally wanted Quads, but the 4 1/2" Tips look awesome and you do not have to change the rear fascia. They can do quads, but you will have to change the rear plastic valance!

Dynoing takes the car up to about 130MPH. Please PM or call (516-655-9002 Steve) if you’re interested.

Update: We have no plans for a 3" system. From Camaro sources, we were told that the 3" system actually loses HP and TQ. We actually had one come in the shop, get a 3" exhaust, and come back to have it changed back to a 2.5" system because the power was not there. The only reason to have a 3" system would be if you are really building up the motor with internals, etc.

Also, we do not plan on having a full 300 series SS exhaust. The T-403 lasts a minimum of 15 years and keeps the cost down significantly. Our mufflers and tips in this kit are all T-304...just the piping is T-403.

Lastly, we can sell the Mach-X muffler by itself. The cost would be $150 shipped. We believe that is very reasonable for the engineering that was involved in designing it.

Great price on the x-pipe!! I'm on the fence on the 2.5" vs. 3" systems thats why I want to see dyno numbers I think the 2.5" is plenty for my plans (+/-500rwhp) but it'd be really sweet to see both dyno'd on the same car. BTW, the system sounds great too.

The 3" systems lose power on a non-heavily modified Camaro. If you are not planning on upgrading internals, etc. as in a heavy build, then go with the 2.5" kits.

'Looks like a rip-off of a custom setup I saw 2 months ago locally (same piping layout, same muffler location), which I will be getting done soon also, but going full length to my headers w/ high-flow cats. 'Not knocking it (it looks and sounds great); just not the first to be done that way.

Come on...to call it a rip-off is a little harsh...it's not like EVERY setup is sooooo different...there's only so many ways to get the pipes from the front to the back and only so many places you can put a muffler.

True, I guess that was a bit harsh, but at least I gave them props on the look and sound.

The only popping would be from people's eyes as The Solo Performance Camaro drives by

There is ZERO popping at all on either of our systems.

If you give us the dimension of your fascia openings, we can match up the rectangular tips we have to match that opening and include them with the kit for you. I believe there are a few body kits out there that have some sort of rectangular opening, but the sizes are slightly different.

Our quad tips would fit into the rectangular openings also, as long as you are OK with having round quads in a rectangular surround.

We do have an awesome set of quad tips that we could include with your order separately. They are dual round staggered 2 ½” inlet and dual 3 ½” outlet tips. With the OEM fascia openings, you would have to cut the plastic yourself to accommodate the quad tips. When you have the exhaust put on, you could line up the tips however you like and make the cut from there. That would ensure perfect fitment. Then, simply have the tips welded in the exact place that looks right to you.

The big difference in this system and others, which you cannot see is WHAT IS IN THE MUFFLER!

- 4 Chambers instead of 1, this stops the packing from moving over time and changing the sound
- Specially shaped pipes and designed louvers to help flow and control DROAN!
- Special Stainless and Ceramic Mesh Packing, like nobody else's packing.

Remember these guys install Borla, Magnalow, SLP, etc, etc. etc. for many years and designed their line, because they knew they could improve on what was out there.
