Yup..i had the same issue...what that does is rebooting your ecm..it clears all the codes that is stored in there..so it u have another one pop up that would be a new code.

It's still doing the same thing, the car started up and idle fine then went back to shacking an the check egine light came back on.

Then its somthin else,mine was the mass air flo sensor...would idle high like 3000 n then fall back to normal in the city..on the highwway it was fine
