I think it would be more along the lines of 2SS + 1LE + LT4 + unique sheet metal

$41905 + $4500 (est for 1LE) + $14000 + $$ for unique parts ~ $62-65000 is my guess.

A 2SS with MR and 6 pot brakes is $47,000.

Add 1LE equipment on top of that plus $14,000 for the LT4 and any other unique goodies not on the 2SS that makes the ZL1 more special.

At a minimum, you are looking at low $60s

The 1LE comes with upgraded brakes already, so I don't think you would need to add in the dealer installed brakes.

Still, 2SS + 1LE + LT4 is already low 60s. Add in the extras for the ZL1, and it probably will be pushing $65k.

I really don't think they're going to price this car less than a Hellcat. High 60's all day long.

Won't be a Camaro owner much longer. Trading my 2002 Camaro, getting $500 for it , for a 2016 LTZ Crew Cab Silverado Z71. Test drove a Tacoma to appease the wife but ended up with the truck I wanted. The 1LE will be up for sale soon. Going to get the truck tomorrow night. Will continue to love Camaros but need something practical to start a family.

So what are we assuming the 1LE package might cost? I hope we hear soon...

@ $7000 1LE (high guess, imo)...that puts the ZL1 somewhere around $62905 as suggested above. Which is right in line with a percentage increase across the board for Camaro...and should be as affordable by previous ZL1 standards...like it was suggested.

Well not many better reasons to give up the Camaros than that. That's a mighty fine truck too.

Don't be a stranger.

As long as they don't try for any premium, that seems like a solid guesstimate.

I think My Z/28 shines in the twisties over my Zr1, because now there is just to much HP(did I really just say that) for corners, with the 19/20 tire combo I have on. I think build a 6thgen Z/28, NA @ 600 and compete head to head with the GT350R, and than build a special edition ZL1, GT500 Killer, a 427CI SC would do just fine..
Thanks! My feeling is the more I hear about and think on it, the 650 HP is just not usable. I really don't want to have to babysit the throttle constantly. I think I'm going GS/Z07, now the color...

What do ya think?

"There are some who say, “Why would you skip out on a supercharged Corvette?” Well, when something like the 2017 C7 Corvette Grand Sport comes along, it’s tempting, especially knowing this new information.

According to Corvette Product Manager, Harlan Charles, the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport matched the C6 Corvette ZR1 around Virginia International Speedway during benchmarking. That means the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport clocked a brisk 2:45.18 time around VIR. Charles stated that was with a seven-speed manual gearbox.

Additionally, he revealed the full slew of 2017 Corvette model year changes would be available on May 13.

Tires and aero certainly are the components to thank for such a sweet, sweet time around VIR. The Corvette team has had multiple hits with each iteration of C7 we’ve been graced with thus far, and the Grand Sport sounds like it will be the perfect sweet spot for those looking for more track-readiness, and loads of livability."

Man, if I was in the market for a new car the C7 Grand Sport would be it... I almost bought a C6 Grand Sport but decided I still needed a back seat. That won't be the case when the 1LE gets retired or handed down to my son.

Anymore rumors about the Zora Mid Engine ZR1?
