Taxpayers gave gm billions of dollars to save them. They should stand behind the people who saved their ass

Floor of the car is connected to the engine.

Would the fuzzy dice void the warranty on the mirror or the wax void the paint warranty or the air freshener void the climate control warranty?

Incompetence is pervasive in a lot of current industries. It may be due to nothing more than younger, inexperienced people entering the job market. That will change someday. But there will always be more, "wiser" people up the food chain who make decisions that can change customer perception. I honestly hope GM has some minion(s) who monitor sites like this and he/she isn't asleep at the switch.

Even if the OP signs a gag order, and some little "birdy" let's us all know that a some kind of deal was struck, I'll continue to worship at the GM alter. Are you listening, General?

Not to disagree with the intent of Moto-Mojo:

From my perspective I would like to see a full "mea culpa" on GM's part. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mea_culpa

Yes it is General Motors' fault through ignorance, arrogance, and greed that the warranty was denied IMHO.
Gag order should be applied to GM after they make an equitable settlement for complete repairs including rental car, inconveniences, etc.

What catch can was this? Was it installed correctly? The one I installed had directions for an LS3 and an L99 so what would happen if I used the wrong directions?

Warranty work is tricky because they never take your word for anything. Of course they ran your engine, they had to diagnose the problem. No skin off their back, they don't fix engines they replace them. Here's a good way to solve an LS3 oil pump failure without having to buy a new engine.

If the low oil pressure warning comes on, shut the engine off and have it towed somewhere, then A, fix it yourself or B tell the service facility to push it in and tear it down because you are paying whether you are wrong or right. And, don't use the freakin' dealer.

Some warranty work just isn't worth the hassle.

personally.. they KNEW it had a no oil pressure situation... also.. starting th eengine: one thing. it was driven and a mile was added...

that isnt just "starting it"

I'd be happy with a "GM is fixing my car" post
