My 2010 keyfob seemed to have this happen. And for me it happened a ton. On my 2013 it seemed they made the button stiffer which reduce the number of accidental presses.

One positive on the 2010 (M6 trans) was my truck button in the car would allow me to open the trunk just by pressing it. On my 2013 I had to set the parking brake first (M6) before it would work. Was so annoying.

I don't have a problem at all with the trunk accidentally releasing on me. You guys must be wearing super tight pants or doing yoga with your key fobs in your pockets.

Another who hasn't had the problem. I keep/carry the switchblade fob separate from my other keys (house, mail, storage, etc.), same with all the fobs/keys for my other vehicles. While at home, all keys/fobs get hung up ... hate carrying them & only carry what's needed when we go out

It happens endlessly. When my keys are in my pocket, and I bend over, twist, reach for the Leatherman in my pocket, dig for change, lean against a counter, sit, stand, breathe, eat, and so forth. These actions open the trunk, unlock the car, or set the horn ablazin' (typically late at night or very early in the morning, which my neighbors appreciate). It's not a matter of tight jeans... I'm known for wearing loose jeans (it's a point of comedy among my buddies).

Now I simply carry my all of my keys in my pocket, with the exception of the Camaro fob, which I leave dangling out of the top. Gives me a little bit of the ol' high school custodian look, but I don't have the problem anymore.

Had the same problem with my Silverado fob: My solution there was to fabricate a metal shield to cover the fob. I could slide it out of the way when I needed to actually USE the thing, but otherwise, the problem of accidental activations was solved by the armor.

My issue is similar I believe. It just seem that whenever I rub my key-fob on my girlfriend's fun-bun or mud-gun, the car alarm goes off! Trying to figure out if everybody else has the same problem?

Nice collection of keys but one of the fobs makes me feel sorry for you, and that sympathy has a name, and that name is Blaine Gabbert! Hang in there brother!
