So I contacted AC Delco and inquired about Front Right Hub 22924740...they said its superseded by 23103115...which is what my VIN calls out for...and theyre both the same price.

The Rear Hub is called out as 23216847 with my VIN.

The front Strut is spot on.

This is way more complicated than its supposed to be.

I understand that the 1le is .... an "SS"

And lets not bring up this fight.

But, are you telling me, that if I bought an 2013 1ss 1le, and needed a new steering wheel, that vin on the dash will bring up a stock 1ss leather wheel?

And not the Suede version?

my Vin number has a J as the 5th number which calls out a 2SS1LE

I will do some searching for 2015, here is the 2014, no 1LE in the vin#Position #5 Series
“E” for 1LS man (1EE37)
"A" for 1LS auto
“F” for 1LT man (1EF37)
"B" for 1LT auto
“G” for 2LT man (1EH37)
"C" for 2LT auto
“S” for 1SS man (1ES37)
“T” for 2SS man (1ET37)
"J" for 1SS auto
"K" for 2SS auto

Go here and put your vin # in.

I believe so. I did a lot of research a couple of years ago when I ordered my car. The 1LE was an option and was not in the vin.

ok..I did as much digging as anyone could. The 1LE option DOES in fact link with your VIN. I went up to a GM dealer and asked them to give me P/N off my car's vin. I matched them with my Vehicles P/N's as well as part numbers online. There are a LOT of 1LE parts lists online and not all of them are correct/valid anymore. Part numbers get superseded blah blah....

My cars vin pulls up a "Z28 Performance Package(1LE)"

Somehow....the parts guy had sent us a regular SS toe link and it made me doubt everything. All settled now. For the record...unless your GM parts guy is horrible, theoretically your VIN should include every single part on your car specific for your car...including your 1LE and FE6 suspension components, steering wheel and all. Thanks everyone.
