Tach wire at coil pack harness?
Anyone know if there's a tach wire at either of the coil pack harnesses? Trying to install a shift light and would much rather tap the lingenfelter harness rather than my factory harness. Not to mention I could use the wire loom for a cleaner install. Note, wire must NOT be positive and must be negative

Just trace the pink wire from the factory cool harness to the Lingenfelter harness.

no other takers? Guess i can t-tap at the ecu, just was looking to utilize wire looming that I already had in place

I used the trigger wire that runs to the #1 coil pack for an RPM reference for my trans controller. I'm not sure how it will work for a shift light. The update rate is slightly slower than the actual rev.

Ok so if you pull the connector. Looking at it with the clip up. 2nd pin is where it's at. Brown wire on mine.

I have a bypass module for a remote start that spits out a tach signal to let the remote start know if A: the car is running and B: if the car over-revs. Wonder if this is an adequate signal for a shift light. Wouldn't even have to poke through the firewall
