Backseat on 2ss

I know that the back seat in a camaro is basically pointless but I'm curious, has anyone fit a grown adult in the backseat? with the seats moved forward is the room really THAT bad?

My wife is a grown adult... At 5'2" and 115lbs. She can fit back there comfortably with the seat forward.

I sat back there to try it out. I was not comfortable due to headroom, I couldnt even sit back as my head was touching the roof. I then almost got stuck back there trying to get out. I am 6' and 175lbs for reference.

Basically, you want to be 5'5 and under so you can have headroom clearance.

Calling it a seat is being pretty generous, I call it the coatroom. My husband is 6'4", he barely fits in the front seat, even then his head brushes the roof. He tried getting in the back once, just to see if he could, it was hilarious.

Everytime I read a post about actually fitting 4 people in the car, I try to picture it. Maybe I just gave birth to giants, but out of my 5 kids(4boys, 1 girl), the only one who'd fit in the back, and only behind me(I'm 5'4"), is my daughter, who's a hair over 5'. She's 22, so I guess she's a grown adult(VERY debatable at times). But my youngest and shortest boy, who's 14 and 6', won't even attempt getting in the back.

We've accepted that the back seat isn't really for people. To be honest, I prefer it that way. Keeps people from asking for rides.

My son is 5'9", he can sit behind me but his head rubs the roof (Non-Sunroof 2SS).
You can get 4 adults in a Camaro, but they all have to be 5'8" or less, and the front seat passengers cannot have the seats all the way back.
The worst part is the recline of the front and back seats...both are pretty much straight up!

You could fit a person back there, person not persons. I was able to fit a friend but he had to sit with his feet across the other passenger seat at an angle, and could still use the seat belt to be secured.

Believe it or not I have had two people. One of the time I had the car at my parents, the family wanted to take it out for a drive. My dad who is 5'8" about 190lbs and my mom a small 5' even very light fit back there. my mother was very comfortable, my dad ... well he survived just fine

I have had multiple adults in the back seat ranging from 4' to 6', the taller they are the less head room and they will mention the lack of head room but they fit. Be aware if you have the auto exit seat function on it will crush the legs of anyone in the back seat.

Yeah, My wife is 5' even 100 Lbs. We went out to dinner with the neighbors He's 6'1" in passenger seat and his wife was behind him. She's 5'6" maybe 125 Lbs. I'm 5'9" 180 and driving We were all comfortable ( Enough) no complaints. I dont think its as bad as some would say. That being said...I have a friend whos wife is on the larger side, We dont take the Camaro when we go out with them!!! LOL!

I'm 5-8 165lbs and with the driver seat adjusted to my preference, I can sit in the back comfortably. Just enough knee room and the top of my head almost touching the roof. That being said, I tell friends/coworkers that the back seat is too small for passengers so that nobody asks for rides. I bought my Camaro for my own selfish pleasure and commuting.

I've been back there for about 15 minutes. There's less knee/leg room than the 5th gen...and I can stomach a ride in the back of a 5th gen for about 45 minutes before I start getting real antsy.

It's functional. It's not comfortable by any stretch of the imagination, but the drivers (unless they're very tall) do not need to move the seats forward for me to fit back there. So they're functional in my mind.

6', 180lb

The reason why we have the suodo backseat is because of insurance purposes (makes it MUCH MUCH cheaper to insure). GM thought about their customers which is a huge plus.

You can fit a person back there if you absolutely have to. They won't enjoy the ride though lol.

I'm 6'3" my wife is 5'- and our salesman was about 5'6" he sat in the back during my test drive and said he was fine behind my wife with her seat forward, and he appeared ok and his head wasn't touching the roof. But I doubt he could have fit behind me while i'm driving.

The main reason I'm looking at Camaro SS's over a used Grand Sport corvette is because of the back seat. My wife doesn't think the 2 seater is an appropriate family car.

For us the back seat is pretty much a nicely upholstered package shelf. Have had my 12 year old grandson back there, and at 5' 3" he was just fine.
Then again, we didn't buy the car for the back seat.
