What do y'all think about a 416 from Scoggin dickey performance center?

I forged my 376, a buddy went 416 and I'm making more power with all the same parts. Don't go bigger unless you have to, there is really no reason too.

I've got a stock bottom end TT here making over 1000rwhp on C16, 900+ on E-85.

Over 700rwhp you are traction limited and will not get the most out of your power without help.

On a scale from 1 to 10 where would y'all rate Scoggin dickey performance center? What are some pros and cons for both motors?

On a 416 your torque is going to be better, it was on mine at least.

I had a forged 376 with my TVS, made 736rw with a 3.2 pulley and still had a 3.0 pulley to use.

Friend bought a ERL 427 and ended up changing his mind. So I bought it, bought bigger heads, new cam ect. Obviously not a cheap build. I put the 3.0 pulley on it, put a ported snout on the blower, Made a 5" air intake for it, added a water/Ice tank.

I made 761rw....Didnt even pick up 30hp. The blower can not keep up. I made 17psi and carried through the rpm range with the 376. On this engine, it starts at 17 and drops to 13 by the end of the pull.

I knew the blower would really limit the car, but didnt realize it would be that much.

After buying this ERL engine and after talking with more people, its not worth it. They have issues. I would highly recommend looking at other options.
LC32's double wrap pulley system will take care of the belt slip and boost loss, you will see 17 across the board if you still have your TVS, it relocates the idler pull and reroutes the belt giving you 75 to 80% belt wrap and the tensioner actually pulls the blower belt tighter on the blower pulley for better belt wrap instead of pulling it off the blower pulley like the original design, it should have came this way from the factory, works great and is reasonable on cost.

SDPC just did my 3.91 gears a week ago, I've been on vacation so haven't had time to break in or test them out but customer service was amazing.

Already got a procharger, but thanks for the info.

Guy just a few days ago laid down over 1100rwhp on a initial tune with a few issues (massive boost leak from not running a check valve on catchcan) through a TH400, big stall, and 9". AGP kit barely breaking a sweat. Another one just did 1300rwhp with a TH400/9". Probably 3 this month that finished up all in that range with big autos/9" all making 1100-1300, and none of them have even pushed it yet.
